Tim Courtney
Director, Marketing & Brand Strategy
Here at KeyLimeTie, there’s always something new. We get to exercise our creativity developing web experiences for a whole range of clients from restaurants and travel to celebrities and public figures.
Most of all, I enjoy helping clients get results on the web through writing clear, concise, engaging, and authentic messages. I love helping people "get" the web. When that happens, we've both won.
More than the work, being a part of a young, dynamic company that is itching to grow is a reward in itself. Chris and Brian are never satisfied — and that’s a good thing — because it drives us to take shots at bigger and bigger projects.
When I'm not working, I enjoy being around people, exploring new places, biking, reading, and recently cooking. Someday I aspire to earn my private pilot license.
Over the past 10 years, Tim has developed a reputation as a tireless customer and user advocate through the development of successful technology-driven brands and communities. He brings to KeyLimeTie a unique perspective and passion to improve an organization already focused on these same core values. Tim believes amidst the popular adoption of web, mobile, and social technologies that solutions must strategically align with business and user needs.
Through his past role, he co-founded and hosted six popular Silicon Prairie Social events which catalyzed the suburban Chicago technology community. In 2003, Tim co-authored “Virtual LEGO,” a technical book on community-developed 3D software, published by No Starch Press.
Tim holds a B.A. from North Central College.
