My site is database driven using PHP and MySQL. Most of the pages on our site, www.scapromotions.com are generated on the fly (e.g. http://www.scapromotions.com/index.php?task=type&whichone=17). Will Site Map Generator work with my site? I have never generated a search engine friendly site map before so any help you can give me is appreciated.

I can confirm that the 'stop' button does work. Admittedly it may take a second or two to stop but surely that is all to do with the program buffering its current progress. After all you don't want to lose everything do you??

I have just tried the 3.0 version. The edit fields on the second tabs are disabled (grayed). The web spider doesn't stop when I press the STOP button.

I am trying to test your free tool on our large site www.thetrucker.com and it keeps crashing, saying out of mem errors. Any suggestions? If I can get it to work, I will buy the full version in a second.

Hi Norm, I have never tried it, but I believe it would work. The code just ensures the URI root is the same and I don’t believe it would care about any A records (i.e. mail). I’ll test this out and get back to you ASAP. Thanks, Brian

Dave, The software should handle pretty much unlimited URLs. I have tested it with over 500,000. Great suggestions! Robots Reading: Coded and being tested right now. Dump current progress: Will do. Export to ROR/TSV: I will investigate this but it should be pretty easy.

Verminator - Some features, including the edit fields on the Preferences tab, are grayed out and disabled in Trial mode. Do you remember the "Trial Mode" message box that displayed when you opened the software. It explicitly explains what you can and cannot do in Trial mode. The Stop button does work. You are the first person to complain about this and 1,000's of people have download the software and 100's have purchased it.

Brian, The new version is great. I like the new features. I've run into an unexpected use for the software. It's been a GREAT tool for making sure all my mod_rewrite rules are in place and working correctly. I found a bunch of links on my site that were not using the rewrite rules by dumping the message log and then searching on ".php?". Thanks again, Johnny
